It Started With A Kiss ~ {Hannah & Jon Engaged}

I met the gorgeous Hannah and Jon back in December and like all couples I meet asked how they met. It turns out they went to school together, ‘childhood sweethearts’, how lovely is that?! So fast forward to April and we started to plan their engagement shoot, however the couple were in a bit of a quandary trying to think of a location. Luckily I always have a few ideas up my sleeve and given the school link I could think of no better location than a special place I’ve shot at before, The Rural Life Centre.

I chortled a great deal to myself whilst editing this shoot, there are no shortages of hidden or not so hidden symbolism; the playground of youth, the classroom of life, the wriggly tadpoles – well yes moving swiftly on. The train station – the journeyof life, the little chapel –  arriving at marriage, the caravan – the honeymoon that certainly isn’t over, and the big ‘Frys’ sign – well a girl loves a bit of chocolate.

This was a wicked shoot and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  I just love couples who are up for anything I throw at them and I can’t wait to capture the couples wedding for them later in the year.

Hannah and Jon, I hope you enjoyed the experience as well, who knew a collection of carpentry tools could be so fascinating!  You two are definitely too cool for school!

With special thanks to The Rural Life Centre, Tilford, for once again letting me have free range of their beautiful museum;  http://www.rurallife.plus.com/rlc/index.html
