Sian Elin & David ~ Oxwich Bay Wedding Photography

Sian Elin and David held their wedding on the Gower Peninsular at the stunningly placed Oxwich Bay Hotel and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful location. In fact, I just loved everything about this wedding, but especially Sian and David who have become my friends since we met through an online dog forum a couple of years ago! They really are the nicest people (anyone who is an animal lover starts off with brownie points from me).

This was a much anticipated wedding (we started talking about it back in 2010), and I have followed Sian’s journey which has involved lots of inspiration and DIY. I really like the fact that Sian had so many ideas including making her own brooch bouquet. She even started her own blog; ‘Making A Vintage Bridal Bouquet’! However above all the gorgeous details that you are about to see, what I thought was really brilliant was the fact that Sian and David were determined to include their 2 beloved Miniature Schnauzers in their big day (these guys have their own Facebook pages and write with their native German accents – yes really).:)

Sian, David – such a joy. Love to you both and of course Ralphy and George. They were the most well behaved wedding guests I have ever photographed.;)

Sian - Being the bride is busy work on your wedding day in the nicest possible way – you want to say hello to every single person there so the next day it can be hard to remember certain parts of the day with clarity – it really does fly by.

What you’ve done for us, Juliet is make sure those special and emotionally charged moments are held in time with your amazing eye for detail.

Those moments couldn’t have been captured so naturally and un-posed without your amazing invisible-woman job and relaxed friendly personality. You really are unobtrusive and that cannot be taught. I’m sure fellow brides who have had the pleasure of you working with them know exactly what I mean.

Thank you for making the little details pop too, I can now (at last!) update my craft blog with some amazing professional photographs of the bouquet.

Vicky of Victoria Mary Vintage: I appreciate you choosing me to win one of your beautiful headpieces. It had to be mine one way or another as soon as I saw it but to win it was so touching and made me very happy.

Louise of B.loved: Thank you for organising such an amazing giveaway – the prizes were first class and it made your re-launch a great success.

Cheers

Sian x
