I’ve been taking natural and un-staged wedding photographs in Surrey and the South East for over ten years and my approach is very much relaxed and friendly, unobtrusive, but always professional.<\/p>\n

I am a creative reportage photographer based in Surrey, and my style is relaxed<\/em> heartfelt<\/em> and\u00a0unobtrusive<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I am really passionate\u00a0about great wedding photography, and my wonderful couples are typically relaxed and fun and nearly always as enthusiastic about their photography as I am.<\/p>\n

Of course I love all the pretty stuff, but I’m essentially interested in capturing the emotions of the day. I am genuinely interested in each couple’s story, and want to record for them not just the big moments, but candid little moments\u00a0with reactions and surprises, tears of happiness and joy.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I have a relaxed and unobtrusive way of documenting a wedding day, believing that natural and candid images are the best.\u00a0My style is mostly ‘as it happens’ unstaged shots, but at times I will also give a little direction to make the most of the light and surroundings.<\/p>\n

Your final collection of images will capture all the colours and emotions of your day. The moments, the characters, and all the details.<\/p>\n

I want you and your guests to feel special and enjoy having me around, not tortured! Much of the time you may not even notice I’m there. When you do I promise to be warm, friendly, and polite.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The Winding Road That Brought Me To Photography<\/h2>\n

I’ve been a professional photographer for 11 years, but originally trained in London as a nurse. It was hands on from day one, and a brilliant foundation for dealing with any situation. Later, fuelled by my mother’s tales of East End midwifery (real ‘Call The Midwife’ stuff), I became a midwife.<\/p>\n

After marriage (and popping out 4 babies of my own), I decided I needed to do something creatively fullfilling with my life, and so began this photography journey. After I photographed my first wedding, the referrals came by word\u00a0of mouth, and\u00a0I’ve never looked back.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Success<\/h2>\n

My work has been featured on many wedding blogs including\u00a0Rock My Wedding and<\/em>\u00a0Love My Dress,\u00a0<\/em>and featured in\u00a0You And Your Wedding<\/em>\u00a0Magazine,\u00a0Wedding<\/em>\u00a0Magazine,\u00a0Wedding Ideas Magazine, and Bride<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I’ve twice been shortlisted for best UK wedding photographer in the UK Wedding Awards (2016,2017), and have strong links with Surrey bridal boutique Miss Bush, having collaborated on several projects over the years.<\/p>\n

The Personal Stuff<\/h2>\n

I believe it\u2019s really important to shoot for yourself. From everyday shots of my kids growing up, to documenting my grandmother\u2019s final days, I know no other way that tells their stories with such power and emotion.<\/p>\n

I am animal mad! We\u00a0have ducks and chickens, and 4\u00a0utterly ravishing but rather high maintenance\u00a0Siamese cats!<\/p>\n
