A Relaxed And Stylish Oxfordshire Farm Marquee Wedding<\/em><\/h2>\n

\"Relaxed<\/a><\/p>\n

Yesterday I photographed\u00a0Henry and Carly’s wedding at the bride’s\u00a0family\u00a0home\u00a0in Oxfordshire.\u00a0Despite being a very rainy day, nothing could dampen the spirits of these two lovebirds who are simply made for each other.<\/p>\n

I began my day at the farmhouse in Horton-Cum-Studley, where Carly bridesmaids and family, were getting ready for the day ahead. Carly chose a beautiful lace Temperley gown that was\u00a0just perfect for her country wedding. I loved her chic hairstyling and subtle makeup, topped with a diamante tiara. The bridesmaids looked fabulous in various pastel dresses, and the colours were reflected in their relaxed ‘just gathered’ style of bouquets.<\/p>\n

Every bride wants the sun to shine on their special day, but the rain can only spoil things if you let it. There was absolutely no way a bit of ‘moisture in the air’ was going to spoil the day for Henry, Carly\u00a0and their families. Everyone was so upbeat and full of joy! I had already met Carly’s lovely mum Annie when I went to the farm for their engagement shoot, but it was so good to meet everyone else. This included\u00a0Reverend Mikey, who also happened to be her new brother-in-law!<\/p>\n

I have to confess I really actually like photographing very rainy weddings. They seem to bring out the Dunkirk spirit in people, and there are plenty of fun shots to be had. Having said that, I was super relieved and so pleased for the couple when the sun came out later and enabled us to take a little stroll through a neighbouring field. The results are some of my favourite ‘golden hour’ bride and groom portraits of my career.<\/p>\n

Henry, Carly and all your friends and family, thank you for making me feel so welcome. You have been an absolute delight to get to know and I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon. Here is your preview. J x<\/p>\n
