An Intimate South London Wedding And Private Luxury Four Seasons Wedding Reception<\/strong><\/h5>\n

This week after a postponement due to lockdown, I was delighted to finally document Kelly and Csaba’s civil wedding ceremony at Croydon town hall registry office. The couple, supported by their witnesses Zoltan (Csaba’s brother), and Kelly’s best friend Ludivine, turned out to be every bit as sweet and lovely as they had been throughout our online chats during the planning process. For anyone having to plan a micro wedding due to the current restrictions, I hope these photos show just how small is also beautiful and still very very special.<\/p>\n

First of all I have to just mention the weather! It’s been a bit of a wash out the last couple of days (thats an understatement), but on the wedding day it was 28 degrees! In fact it was so hot my Starburst melted! Yes, that hot. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The Civil Wedding At Croydon Town Hall<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sadly I wasn’t allowed into the office during the marriage ceremony, but the registrars did allow me to enter for some quick photographs afterwards (I will be very happy when all these restrictions end!), and I’m glad I was able to document a little of this part of Kelly and Csaba’s day for them. After this, there was confetti and photos of the happy couple on the steps outside the town hall, before we moved on to the second part of the day.<\/p>\n

An Intimate Wedding Breakfast At Fox Hollow At Four Seasons Hampshire<\/strong><\/p>\n

The couple chose The Four Seasons in Hampshire for their intimate wedding celebrations. It’s a venue I know well, so I planned to take the couple to the walled garden for their portraits first, knowing at this time of year it would be looking fantastic and in full bloom. It certainly made for a gorgeous backdrop for our little group shots and romantic bride and groom portraits. I love these portraits of the couple and I love the contrast to the urban nature of the images from the first part of the day.<\/p>\n

After photos, we were escorted by the venue’s events coordinator Aimee, down to Fox Hollow, the venue’s fabulous private dining room. It really was looking fantastic, with flowers by the team at Moutan, and cake by Emily from The Sweet Life Bakes. After a glass of Champagne, the couple requested just a few more photographs with a backdrop of the Hampshire countryside (and big blue skies on the hottest day of the year so far). Then there was the cutting the cake, before I left the foursome to enjoy their wedding breakfast.<\/p>\n

Kelly says they loves the photos, and I’m so grateful they have allowed me to share them with you, because I do too!<\/p>\n
