London’s Coal Drops Yard<\/h5>\n

I’m delighted to share some favourite moments from a recent family photo shoot in London at Coal Drops Yard.<\/p>\n

One of the best things about photographing families is when regular clients come back year after year.\u00a0 I really get to know the parents, and their children’s personalities as they grow. There’s a trust that develops as well as a familiarity. Plus knowing I have created a catalogue of beautiful images for them from the early newborn days onwards, is immensely satisfying. As a mum myself I know how precious family photographs are, especially when you actually get to be in them (and are not always the one taking them!).<\/p>\n

I’ve been photographing this particular family since their little boy was a newborn, and I really look forward to catching up with them each year. It doesn’t take long for our session to get into a lovely and relaxed rhythm, and I’m able to get a range of images displaying not just happy faces, but real little moments.<\/p>\n

I’ve photographed the family at their home and at Kew, but this time they fancied something a little different. They suggested Coal Drops Yard, a beautifully developed area located behind Kings Cross station, and it provided so many picturesque and fun locations which meant no time for little one’s to get bored!<\/p>\n
