Modern Joyful Wedding Photography
Hi, I'm Juliet. I have a relaxed and unobtrusive way of documenting a wedding and believe that natural candid images are far more meaningful than formal posed shots. My style is mostly 'as it happens' unstaged moments, but at times I'll also give a little direction to make the most of the light and surroundings. I'm also happy to take some classic family group photographs, but again, these can be as relaxed as you like!
I want you and your guests to feel special and enjoy having me around, not tortured! Much of the time you may not even notice I'm there. When you do I promise to be warm, friendly, and polite.
I understand that we all have certain insecurities when it comes to being photographed, and I ask that my couples trust me to capture all aspects of their special day with a real sensitivity. I come with many years experience of wedding photography, and I'm a safe pair of hands!
The Personal Stuff
I've been shooting weddings professionally for 15 years, and still get excited before every single wedding. Even when I get home really late, I still have to take a look at the photos before I go to bed - I can't wait until the morning!
I originally trained in London as a nurse, and it was a brilliant foundation for dealing with any situation. Later, and fuelled by my mum's tales of East End midwifery (very 'Call The Midwife'), I also trained as a midwife. After marriage and 4 babies of my own, a lifelong passion for photography became my career, and I've never looked back.
I believe it’s really important to shoot for yourself. From everyday shots of my kids growing up, to documenting my grandmother’s final days, I know no other way that tells their stories with such power and emotion. Photographic memories of your loved ones really are priceless.
I'm an animal lover and keep chickens, ducks, and 4 utterly ravishing but rather high maintenance Siamese cats! I also love a bit of interior design and have been renovating our 1930's home for a few years. If you want a nose you can see my dedicated insta feed here.
