An Elegant Intimate And Musical Wedding At The Dorchester Hotel
Christopher and Hanyi chose to hold their wedding ceremony at London’s The Dorchester Hotel, one of the most elegant and iconic hotels in the world. The setting of the Penthouse and Pavilion was perfect for their intimate wedding with close friends and family, many having travelled from overseas.
Christopher and Hanyi, both doctors of mathematics, make the sweetest of couples. Hanyi is an amazing pianist, and the day was very much about sharing their love and happiness as well as the gift of music. Hanyi performed several pieces of music for their guests at the grand piano in the Penthouse. Earlier I had the privilege of capturing the couple as Hanyi played a couple of pieces for Christopher on Liberace’s mirrored piano. Wow! What an amazing moment to record, if only in pictures.
Hanyi looked radiant in her feather-embellished Pronovias wedding dress teamed with Champagne glitter Jimmy Choo platforms. The wedding flowers and bouquet, by Philip Hammond and The Dorchester’s florist team, were pastel pinks. The roses in particular smelled wonderful and I’m sure the scent of roses will forever remind the couple of their day.
This was a beautiful, relaxed and emotional wedding. The couple’s families are clearly so proud of them and rightly so. It was an absolute honour to be a small part of and I hope Christopher and Hanyi enjoy this special preview of their fabulous day.
