A Beautiful Hot And Sunny Summer Wedding At The Tythe Barn At Launton
I seriously couldn’t wait to share these preview images from this fabulous wedding at the Tythe Barn Launton last Saturday. Liz and Rob could not have asked for a more perfect day. The weather of late has been rather unpredictable with no shortage of rain, but just look at those blue skies and picturesque fluffy white clouds! You could not ask for more.
This was my first visit to the venue, and I was blown away by their well organised, friendly and welcoming staff. The beautiful barn and gardens were all absolutely immaculate, and everything carefully thought through to ensure couples have the day of their dreams.
So, this is just a brief preview of the day, unashamedly sharing plenty of pretty. I started my day capturing bridal preparations in the ‘Nook’, nestled behind the gardens but within spying distance of arriving guests. Liz and her bridesmaids all looked so lovely with their wedding makeup and hair by artist Sophie. Liz paired her elegant bridal gown with chalky pink bridesmaids dresses by Maids To Measure. Soft and floaty and perfect for a warm summer wedding. I loved her bridal shoes by Freya Rose with Mother of Pearl heels and jewellery, including a beautiful bracelet from Rob she received that morning.
All the flowers for the day were by Buckinghamshire florist Herbert & Isles, who worked so hard throughout the morning and who’s blooms were simply breathtaking. I’ve never seen such large Peonies and loved the large milk churn arrangements by the entrance to the barn. Also the bouquets were gorgeous with Peonies, Roses, Sea Holly, Sweetpea, Scabious and Eucalytptus. Very very pretty! Liz was absolutely thrilled with them.
I had my assistant Debbie along with me for the day, and she spent the morning shooting groom prep with Rob and the guys at a nearby farm, helping them with their buttonholes, and generally being her usual Girl Friday. We then came together for the ceremony to document the rest of the day. The couple married in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Afterwards there were group shots, canapes and plenty of Pimms and pimped Prosecco. Following the speeches (included a great bridal speech), the wedding breakfast was served in the Tythe barn. A guest from each table was given the important task of carving the roast, and I can confirm that it was delicious! 🙂
Later I took Liz and Rob off for a few more golden hour photos, before the cake was cut and the first dance expertly executed. Our final task was to shoot a sparkler procession. So much fun!
I must also just say how pristine and perfect Liz’s dad’s vintage Triumph was. It perfectly coordinated with the deep blue sky! 🙂
