Despite the wet weather, nothing could spoil the wedding day of the lovely Jo and Paul at the Dorchester Collection’s Coworth Park in Ascot.
Having lived in Ascot for several years, I must say I was really looking forward to shooting this wedding, not least because I’ve dined at Coworth Park and know it’s an amazing venue with service that is second to none. Paul and Jo were happy for me to recommend a florist, and so we brought on board my good friend Steph, of Fairy Nuff Flowers, and she did not disappoint.
Unfortunately, the weather decided to misbehave and the heavens opened for all but 10 minutes of the day. Having said that, being the eagle eyed photographer that I am, I seized the opportunity to whip the party outside for some quick group shots and portraits of Jo and Paul. I do have to say though, if it’s going to rain on your wedding day, you better hope you have a venue as gorgeous as Coworth Park in terms of beautiful light and amazing backdrops, and I can honestly say this was one wedding the weather could not spoil.
