A Glorious Richmond Park Summer Engagement Shoot
A balmy Summer evening, beautiful soft enveloping light, and a gorgeous loved up bride and groom. My perfect ingredients for a pre wedding engagement shoot.
I met up with Philip and Sophie at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park, for their pre wedding shoot. It was one of the warmest days so far this year, and the park was full of folk out to enjoy the fine weather. Even so, the park is vast and we soon found some gorgeous backdrops for some relaxed photography.
I had previously only chatted to Philip on the phone, so it was lovely to meet him with Sophie and be able to chat about their September wedding plans.
A pre wedding shoot is a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to see how I like to work. Often couples tell me they don’t feel confident in front of the camera. I want to show them how important it is to just be themselves. The best photographs are those where you are having fun, enjoying yourself, oh and it helps if you are seriously into each other!! 🙂
Having met these two, I can’t wait for their Berkshire wedding later on this year. Here is a selection of my favourite photos from the shoot. The camera absolutely adores them! J x
