An All Girls Pre Prom Party Photo Shoot Surrey
It’s year 11 prom season and this year I photographed not one but two prom parties on the same night!
Prom parties have become a big deal for British school leavers in recent years, and I think they are great fun, and truly deserved. Our kids work so hard towards their exams (most of the time), and the years between leaving primary and completing year eleven go so incredibly fast. One minute you’re ironing a pile of school uniforms, topping up their lunch money and nagging them to revise, and the next oh my Lord, they’re young adults all grown up, sophisticated and beautiful, ready for whatever exciting challenges lay before them.
I think Prom photography should be just as much about celebrating the individual spirit as it celebrating friendship and achievement. I hope these photographs demonstrate this.
Girls, you looked amazing. Your parents must be bursting with pride. Enjoy the Summer break and wherever you go next, have a wonderful journey. J x
