A Beautiful Autumn Wedding At Rivervale Barn
Take one beautiful bride, a witty debonaire groom, and an international cast of fun loving friends and family, and you have everything you need for the wonderful wedding of Philip and Fiona.
It was dull and very wet when I arrived at Fiona’s parents’ home. However it was soon perfectly clear from the sunny atmosphere that it was going to be a glorious occasion that no rain could spoil.
I always thought Fiona would make a stunning bride, but with hair swept back into a elegant chignon, twinkly hair comb, gorgeous shoes and a stunning dress by Maggie Sottero, I knew Philip was going to be blown away! Fiona had chosen a gorgeous blue for her colour and her bridesmaids look rather regal in their personalised Coast frocks.
Oh and I was ably assisted by the lovely Emma Russell for this wedding. She was bravely dispatched to follow Philip and his mates’ preparations and did a super job throughout the day. So a huge thank you to her for helping me capture everything in such detail.
Now would you just take a look at this glowing bride and her good sport of a husband. I stole them away from the party to get some shots of them in the lovely grounds of the venue. It was raining hard, but would you guess? No. Total stars.
Rivervale Barn looked rather magical with its sparkling fairy lights, and I LOVED Fiona and Philip’s theme of ‘tea’ complete with table of various types for guests in need of refreshment. As an enthusiastic tea drinker myself I wholly approved, and the iced teapot favours were a brilliant idea. Oh and look at that cake. Clever!
