Mayfair to Green Park Engagement Shoot
Yesterday I went up to Claridges in Mayfair to meet up with Greg and Jack to discuss their forthcoming wedding at the hotel in July. We had a coffee and a chin wag and then took a walk along Bond Street to Piccadilly, finishing in Green Park, taking some gorgeous Spring pre wedding photographs as we went.
This was the first time I’d met the couple who currently live in Hong Kong. Previously we had chatted via email, so it was super to meet them face to face to get to know one another. They have so many wonderful plans for their big day (trust me, it’s going to be fabulous). I left feeling excited to document what sounds like a truly unique wedding, full of great photo opportunities. This is a day which will celebrate their cultures, personalities, and everything they love about each other, and these grooms are going to look amazing!
As always, being able to get to know my couples before their wedding day really helps me to tell their story, know what’s important to them, and just enhances the whole experience for us both.
Greg emailed me this morning to say, “How fabulous it was to meet you yesterday, and it was such fun to take some pictures with you. I hope we relaxed eventually and we got some good shots, you definitely made us laugh!”
Well Greg, it was fun and you made me laugh as well! You guys are such great company, and I hope I have managed to capture something of what makes you both special as individuals, and awesome when you together. I shall see you both at Claridges in July. 🙂
